In the winter you can enjoy downhill slopes in the ski centre "Ski"(10 minutes on foot), cross-country and biking routes, ski schools for children and adults. You can make a trip by sledge drawn by horses, ride a ski scooter or visit hotel swimming pools (in the Energetik Hotel and the Horizont hotel). The resort offers ski rental and ski repair facillities.

The boarding house Svetýlko is situated 1 040 m above sea level in the famous mountain resort Pec pod Snežkou in the Krkonoše mountains (Giant Mountains).All year round we offer our guests a luxury accommodation with views ot the highest mountain - Snežka - in this unspoilt part of the Krkonoše Nature Reserve. Guests can stay either in apartments with 4-6 beds (bedrooms, living room, kitchen, WC, shower) or in individual rooms. Capacity of house is 16 people. The common room with a fireplace , TV+sat and Wi-Fi internet , sauna, terrace with great view and grill are available. In the boarding house is small bar, you can get refreshments and mountain specialities or have meals. In winter you will park your car in Pec pod Snežkou in the car parking P4 Zelený potok, the distance to the boarding house Svetýlko is about 2,5 km (see the map), transport by snowmobiles taxi(cca 60,- EUR for 8 persons). In other season you can park by near hotel parking.

 

 

 

 

 

Summer in the Krkonoše is under the sign of hiking and cycling. In the resort Pec pod Snežkou you will find tennis and squash courts and a minigolf course. In good weather you can enjoy a trip by cable car   to the highest mountain Snežka (1 602 m above sea) and a hike over mountain ridges. Using the frontier crossing at Horní Malá Úpa, it is possible to make a trip, even a bike trip, to Poland. Swimming you can enjoy in holiday area Dolce by Trutnov, nice lake Čstá u Vrchlabí and also in outdoor pool by our neighbours on Jelení louky or Mladé Buky. Small pool for kids is by the house.
